Advocate, Lynelle Wilcox, describes action taken at Salem City Council meeting concerning the proposed "sit lie" ordinance. The proposed ordinance had 3 parts: prohibiting sitting or lying on a city bench between 7am-9pm, erecting structures (e.g. tents) and leaving personal property on city sidewalks.
