Show Notes

During Salem's second annual Indigenous Peoples Day on the steps of the State Capitol, people heard speakers, flute, drumming; watched and participated in dancing; and witnessed a color guard ceremony honoring veterans. This is an excerpt of that day which includes words from two young Native American women, Mikusa Moreland and Sol Satipi; flute by Feliz Chuma Pinguil and drumming by students from Chemawa Indian School.
