It sounds like an episode of "The X-Files," but it's real life: Unexplained cattle deaths on remote western ranch lands, animals with organs surgically removed, leaving behind no blood, and apparently, no evidence. This report, recorded many years ago in Colorado by Scott Schlegel, has relevance today as ranchers in Eastern Oregon experienced this phenomenon late this summer.
