Spin, a San Francisco-based bike-sharing company, has recently placed about 100 of its bright orange bikes on the Western Oregon University campus. To use the bikes, all you need is a smartphone app and a debit or credit card. Dr. Gary Dukes, vice president of student affairs at Western Oregon University, Kyle Jansson, City of Monmouth’s Bicycle Pedestrian Friendly Community Committee and, owners of The Bicycle Shop in Monmouth discuss the new program.
