Eva Pignotti, program director for HeadStart (Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency) talks about HeadStart's beginnings and impact. It's 56 years old this month.  Pignotti explains how the program works in Marion & Polk Counties, how it involves parents and makes programs culturally relevant.  And, there is a need for more teaching aides which leads to a career path in early childhood learning.
