Veteran political analyst and political-science professor Jim Moore helps explain the issues, the candidates, and the ballot measures we face in this fall’s election, in this week’s edition of The Forum. He compares candidates in some of the important races, looks at where the money is, and tells why different parts of the state might vote differently on some issues. He doesn’t see farmers united on the “Sanctuary state” ballot issue, even though their crops depend on migrant workers, and he tries to untangle what’s at stake in a measure about taxes and grocery stores, and who might be behind that referendum.
