Gerrymander a voting district

Gerrymander a voting district

Show Notes

This week on the Forum, learn how to gerrymander a voting district so a few people get more bang for their buck when they vote, or more power for their party than the same number of citizens who belong to the other political persuasion. How to fix and prevent unfair gerrymandering, and how to re-draw district lines when new census numbers come in, will be the challenge facing Oregon lawmakers before long. It’s the second of two programs on an all-day conference held at Willamette University’s Center for Governance in Public Policy.
