A community group aimed at achieving and ensuring social justice in the Mid-Valley is celebrating its twentieth year in existence. At the recent annual “Raising the Bar” event in Salem, members and supporters heard from a co-founder, an education leader, and mayors of both Salem and Keizer about the group's accomplishments in its first two decades. The theme for this year's luncheon was "The Stars Are Aligning for Educational Equity."
