In this Salem City Club presentation, new CFO Bob Barron and City Councilor Tom Anderson address the financial picture for Salem and Barron's impressions of this capital city as a new resident and employee. They discuss the city's financial health and an upcoming ballot measure that would create an employee-paid payroll tax to cover the city's FY20-21 budget gap. Barron also describes his role as Chief Financial Officer because, not only is he a new employee, his position is new, too.
