Talking About Art Friday, November 22 from 0830-0900 at KMUZ 88.5FM our guests were photojournalists Jennifer Carly and Greg Zurbrugg of Salem Photo League, and their "Everyday Heroes" Denise Smith and Reid Noel. Denise and Reid will be honored the same day with eight other Salem citizens who are being recognized for helping their community.
This event is sponsored by Salem Photo League, Salem Weekly and KMUZ 88.5FM....Your all local, all volunteer and not for profit radio station. Community radio at it's best!
The award ceremony and display of 10 photo essays will be happening at Salem Arts Building....155 Liberty St in downtown Salem....Reception from 6-8pm with an awards ceremony at 6:30 PM. The general public will also be able to nominate their own "Everyday Heroes" for recognition next year. So if you know of someone who goes above and beyond to help others, come to the reception and put in your nomination.
