Ward boundaries in Salem are changing due to the 2020 census data to ensure each ward has about 22,000 residents in each one. Lisa Anderson-Ogilvie, City of Salem, and Lesley Hegewald, Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments, explain the process and how the public can weigh in on creating new ward boundaries based on the 2020 census data.
