Marion Polk Food Share's Ian Dixon-McDonald describes the increase in food insecurity in our community due to inflation and the cutback of SNAP benefits (aka "food stamps") - the federal safety net for our most vulnerable families. In addition to volunteering and donating to the food pantries, Dixon-McDonald asks the community to support policies that uplift families living in poverty, including SB 610 - Food for All.
