There are many fascinating women in Oregon's history. This week on The Forum you will learn about Dr. Esther Pohl Lovejoy. Dr. Lovejoy (1869 – 1967) was an American physician, public health pioneer, suffrage activist, congressional candidate, and a central figure in early efforts to organize international medical relief work. This presentation by Professor Kimberly Jensen (Western Oregon University, Dept. of History and Gender Studies) was part of Deepwood Estate's Heritage Talk Series .
