Selma Pierce had been a health professional, community volunteer, and two-time candidate for public office before her untimely, tragic death on December 1, 2020. Her husband Bud Pierce had just announced that he was running for Governor in 2022 just hours before.  In this tribute to Ms. Pierce, you will hear about her community activism, her thoughts on women in government, and about a legislative district, she hoped to represent during an interview on KMUZ in June of 2018.
