Show Notes
Last year, the City of Salem launched the Homeless Rental Assistance Program (HRAP), the goal of which is to provide supportive housing for 100 chronically homeless citizens in the community. So far, 71 have been placed in permanent housing, and 69 of those placements have been successful. In this special report, Pamela Garrick and Sonya Ryland from the Salem Housing Authority talk about what it takes to do that and what the future looks like for the program.
