On Elephant in the Room, Patricia Farrell, project manager for the Salem Climate Action Plan Task Force, gives an update on the plan. She talks about the plan's goals, categories being addressed in the plan and the timeline for its adoption by city council. She notes that 53% of Salem's greenhouse gas emissions is caused by automobiles. So look for a number of solutions to reduce driving.
