Today on "Invisible People" Jimmy Jones, executive director of the Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency, talks about pending legislation and state funding that would assist people currently unsheltered get access to more services.  Jones said 1,000 emergency shelter beds are needed right now.  He has hope with the opening of Union Gospel Mission this summer, other shelter spaces coming online, and funds for a navigation center.  He notes that "strategic" patience is needed to whether this community crisis.
