CAHOOTS (Crisis Assistance Helping Out on the Streets) a mobile response program to assist people experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis, is being considered for implementation in Salem. City Councilor Vanessa Nordyke tells us how such a program could work in Salem and progress being made to establish one in the capital city. Nordyke says mobile response programs can save money and save lives.
