According to the Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments, every year there are over 3700 crashes in the Salem-Keizer area, with thousands of injuries and 15 to 20 deaths.
Mike Jaffe, transportation planner for the council, talks about a transportation safety action plan survey and asks residents to help shape the plan.
