WWII "Kristallnacht" compared to today's anti-semitism in USA
Show Notes
This Friday, November 9th is the eightieth anniversary of a date that’s considered by many to be the start of the downward slide into World War Two, and the Holocaust. In the wake of a recent shooting at a Pennsylvania synagogue that becomes the worst anti-semitic attack in US history, we did our own “History in the News” and invited some historians to come to our KMUZ studios and discuss the parallels with historic events. The presence of racial, cultural, and religious prejudice in the 21st century and the participation of government in the oppression of minorities is the topic of this week’s edition of The Forum.
