Warm Water Fish in Oregon

Show Notes

Warm-water fish like bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish are not native to the Northwest, but they’re here and doing well.  They’ve found popularity with anglers, and the good news is that they are NOT the kind of invasive species that takes over and becomes a big problem. In this week’s Forum, Gary Galovich of Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife looks at the challenges of fish management and the opportunities they provide.

(Thanks to Salem Environmental Education for the fish which is right from the website of the organization that brought you this speaker!)
