Salem poet Penina Taesali discusses and reads from her 2016 publication Sourcing Siapo, a book-length poem about ten siblings who struggle to overcome the pains and adversity of a challenged family against the backdrop of their Pacific Islands culture of origin. It is a beautiful, inspiring tale of reconciliation and redemption through love, compassion, and forgiveness.
