New Smoke & Saftey Rules for Workers adopted by OSHA

Laurie Hoefer, Farm Workers Program in Legal Aid Services of Oregon, reviews the new rules adopted by Oregon Occupational Safety & Health on heat and smoke. The rules came about after extreme heat & smoke from previous summers that negatively impacted health of agriculture workers, including one death. The rules apply more broadly than just to farm workers and are considered the strongest rules in the nation.
