Election Coverage - Be an informed Voter
Show Notes
KMUZ, CCTV, League of Women Voters, American Association of University Women, Salem City Club, and the Candidate Interview Project team up to provide election coverage for the May 19th Election.
Willamette Wake Up aired interviews with Salem city council and mayoral candidates earlier this month. If you missed them you can hear them again by downloading the podcasts from this page. Tune into WWU Friday, May 1st for Polk County Candidates, or look for the podcast later.
AND, you can hear from other candidates running for state and national offices with the Candidate Interview Project. Starting May 19th, you can hear from these candidates on KMUZ Sundays at 9 am and Mondays at noon. To learn more about that: oregon2020.org.
Find more candidate interviews conducted by the League of Oregon Voters and their partners at cctvsalem.org.
The election is May 19th. The last day to register to vote was April 28th. But you can still make changes to your current registration (e.g. address, name, party affiliation). To make sure you are registered to vote, go to Oregon votes dot gov. Your vote IS your voice. KMUZ urges you to speak up!
